Network Troubleshooting

WinMTR is a powerful yet simple tool used for troubleshooting network connectivity issues. It helps identify packet loss and latency problems by continuously testing the route between your computer and a specified server. This information is crucial for diagnosing and resolving network-related issues effectively.

Step 1: Download WinMTR

1. Open your web browser.
2. Go to the official WinMTR website: https://winmtr.net/.
3. Click the Download link.

Step 2: Extract the Downloaded File

1. Once the download is complete, locate the ZIP file in your Downloads folder.
2. Right-click the ZIP file and select Extract All.
3. Follow the prompts to extract the files.

Step 3: Open WinMTR

1. Open the folder where you extracted the files.
2. Double-click the file named WinMTR.exe to start the program.

Step 4: Run WinMTR

1. In the program, find the box labeled Host.
2. Enter the domain or IP address we provided (e.g., example.com or 192.168.1.1).
3. Click the Start button.
4. Let the program run for about 1-2 minutes.

Step 5: Save the Results

1. When the program has been running for enough time, click the Stop button.
2. Click the Export TEXT button.
3. Save the file to a location you'll remember, like your Desktop.
4. Send us the output via our ticket system.
