How to Setup FortiClient IPSec VPN Client

Prerequisites
- FortiClient VPN installed on your device.
- VPN connection information
Step 1: Launch FortiClient
- Open FortiClient from your desktop or start menu.
- Click Configure VPN or Add a new connection.
- Click IPSec VPN.
- Enter the VPN details provided:

- Click Save or Apply.
Step 2: Connect to VPN
- Click Connect.
- Enter your username and password (and OTP if required).
- Wait for Connected status to appear.
- Verify connectivity by accessing internal corporate resources (e.g., intranet or shared drives).
Step 3: Disconnect from VPN
- Click Disconnect.
- Close FortiClient if you do not need it running.
Troubleshooting

| Cannot connect | Check Internet connection, server address, and credentials. |
| Two-Factor prompt fails | Verify time on your device matches authenticator app. |
| Connection drops | Reconnect or contact IT support. |
